This year we were graced with a visit from Laura Gao, queer author/illustrator, bread vacuum, and creator of the viral webcomic “The Wuhan I Know” as well as bestselling graphic memoir Messy Roots. From discussions of her creative process, to sharing her queer and Asian identity, to informing us of her stellar fanfiction tastes, we all had a great time meeting and talking to her.
